New Jobs/Same Goal

I haven’t written in such a long time, but I have decided to start again. Before I get into all of that, I figure I should update folks on what’s happening in my life. In December of 2019 I resigned as the worship pastor at Crosspoint Church in Hutchinson KS. I love CP and will always be grateful for my time there. In the previous summer a friend of mine had called and offered me a job working for his construction company. Admittedly, I didn’t really know much about that world but it was at the very least intriguing. I decided to start doing it part time to see if it was a thing I could really see doing. Fast-forward to today and I am very excited to be part of the team at Wray Bend Architectural Metal.

While all of that was going on, my brother David, who had recently taken a job as the pastor of Aviator Church in Derby, asked me if I would be willing to come volunteer at his church. I was really excited to be able to help out. As it turns out, the worship leader at Aviator, decided he needed a change, and I became the bi-vocational worship pastor at Aviator where I get to work with my brother.

I never saw life going this way for us but we are enjoying the ride and trusting God to work out the details. Still a worship pastor, still a camp worship leader, now also an architectural metal project administrator. Who saw that coming?
